With over a decade of experience behind them Erik and Stewart have devised English for Special Purposes workshops and lessons to suit the ever increasing needs of their clients.

The course palette ranges from in- company Business English, teaching culinary skills in English (cooking4U), discovering Leipzig in English (conversational courses about local business & social sites including neighbourhood tours) and integration projects (Create5).

Erik Eek
An Oklahoma native, Erik received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma. He worked in the print medium and the Associated Press, the Oklahoma Press Association and other publications have printed his by-line.
Some of his translations of German-language texts into English have also appeared in print. A certified Teacher of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), Erik has been developing the English language communication skills of his client base for over ten years, mostly in Germany.
His work has proven vital to a number of companies and individuals expanding into international markets. His unusual background in both the written and spoken forms of English gives him a unique ability to assist his clients.
Susann Hübner
Susann Hübner
Born and raised in Saxony, Susann received her Masters of Arts degree in English and Education from Leipzig University.
During the course of her studies, she took a break to live in Great Britain working with mentally and physically disabled individuals, helping her clients to achieve a more independent lifestyle.
This sojourn provided her with a unique insight into the use of the English language. Certified as a teacher of both English and German as foreign languages, Susann has brought her passion for linguistics and language acquisition into the classroom.
Gisa Schönfeld
Gisa Schönfeld
Raised in Saxony, Gisa studied linguistics and translation at Leipzig University. Through exchange programs, she also attended courses at Leeds University in Great Britain as well as the Smolensk State University and the Pjatigorsk State Linguistic University in Russia.
She passed her examinations as an interpreter of both English and Russian with high notes. Though not as fluent, she has a working knowledge of French in addition to her qualification in Latin. With a special emphasis on business communication during her studies, Gisa has developed extensive knowledge of culture-specific issues.
Active as a translator and interpreter, she has also worked as a language trainer. Fast and accurate, she has focused on the fields of Real Estate and Finance, International Trade, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Facility Construction.
Stewart Tunnicliff (CELTA, CertEBB)

As a European Brit, Stewart is a Cambridge qualified instructor of English as a Foreign Language. English for Special Purposes, including Academic & Technical English in Higher Education and Further Education.
Tailoring to new markets and needs means he has expanded his palette with courses to train the trainer, for culinary skills in English and integration projects. He also has ample experience as a copy editor/proofreader & avid blogger.
Likewise, he assists established companies, a non-profit org (Leipzig Writers e.V.), local English trainers in optimizing their platforms, markets & copy (texts), as well as develop their potential through not only creative expression but exemplary uses of language.
